Sunfare

Look at my CV and you'll see that I worked for Sunfare for a long time. It was a special place where, in the context of my professional life, I cut my teeth on just about every kind of opportunity imaginable. Without going overboard, from a design perspective I did so much - marketing collateral, biz systems, presentations, site work, brand development, email design, internal assets, external assets, and on... and on. I also served as their Communcations Director for years, so virtually all of the writing that represented the company, both inward and outward, was me.

Like I say on my homepage, many hats.

IGNW

IGNW was here for a minute then gone to the next level. A fast-paced startup that just blew the lid off of what was possible for business through digital transformation. I deployed their site and also did their design work through and through: logos, icons, presentations, flyers, signage, cards, schwag, and the like. They've been acquired, which makes me a lot happy and a little sad, but it was a crazy ride while it lasted.

Intel

"Always a freelancer never a full-timer".* Isn't that what they say? I did a ton of contract work for Intel in the design space and really got to touch some interesting projects, from infographics to executive presentations to custom illustrations, animations, banner marketing, tradeshow assets, corporate posters, and more. They hired me for years, across many iterations of their brand, and gave me my first big taste of working within (and stretching the bounds of) a style guide.

*My sincere thanks to KB for the opportuntiy, though. You know who you are! ♥

American Ambulance Association

One of many clients I've worked on with superstar developer Square Lines Design (more casually known as Square Lines), AAA needed a web-based application to help ambulance services prepare for a federally mandated reporting process. I provided wireframes for the initial design conversation and then spec'd the actual look and feel when it was time for development.

Cook with What You Have

Another Square Lines client, Cook with What You Have was a great little business that needed a website overhaul and some marketing collateral. I took the lead on look/feel, ux, and ui, and I just liked the project. The site has since been busied with a lot of content and maybe not so much design oversight, but I enjoyed breathing new life into it nonetheless.
